The first beetles have been identified as the members of the family Carabidae — the carabid beetles.

The family Carabidae (as well as a few other families) include many kinds of beetles, known from virtually all parts of the world.

Some beetles of the family Carabidae are harmless, some are not, some have wings and some do not.

Only a few species of beetles have been reported from Serbia so far:

The members of this family are not that popular among scientists.

And only a few species have been named after famous people, and only a few of them have been named after famous people.

The first beetle has been named after Novak Djokovic and its name is “Novakdjokodikus chukuk” which means as follows:

“Novak Djokovic made me what I am today (and in the future)” — Novak Djokovic

The name of the beetle is a new one.

This particular beetle species may be called “Novakdjokodikudje” or “Novakdjokodikus” or whatever name is more suitable for this species.

The name was chosen after Novak Djokovic was reported by a local journalist from Bijeljina, named Tomislav.

The reporter told Novak Djokovic about “Novakdjokodikus”, but the journalist did not say that the beetle is the same species as “Novakdjokodikus chukuk” or that the beetle is the same species as the one named after the Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic.
