7 ANTIQUE CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR POST CARDS UNPOSTED

Description

7 beautiful old postcards, including 5 Christmas and 2 New Year's cards from the late 19th/early 20th century. They are all made in the U.S., except for the tinted New Year card, which was printed in Bavaria. A few are embossed, and have divided backs. The New Year card with the bird has 'Authorized by act of Congress of May 19 1898', and was published by The International Art Publishing Co of New York. Another was made by The Gibson Art Company of Cincinnati, Ohio. None have been mailed or posted; a few have a bit of very light pencil writing on the backs, and the card with the star and poinsettias has 2 Christmas stickers on the back. Overall, they are in very good shape,  with just some light yellowing and corner bumping, with no tears or creases.
