antique baby doll with fired bisque head, cloth body

Description

This baby has a serious thinking face!  He measures 8.5' long.  The head is in perfect condition- no cracks, chips or    crazing, no discolorations due to age.  His body is probably the original one, hand made by his first owner in the early 20's.  These dolls came as kits, with the head and probably only a pattern for the body.  the head is unmarked, as with most of them.  Non smoking home, no smoky smell, but some age mustiness.  He would probably love a new body!
