Early NIPPON Bisque Antique Doll-pre 1900

Description

I am selling a very old bisque doll whose face almost appears as though from marble.  It is not, but the bisque is a bit different without sheen.  Molded hair and hand painted eyes.  Pleasant expression.  No cracks or chips.  Arms and legs are jointed via wire.  I know when I purchased this doll I was told she was from the late 1800s.  She reportedly came with more information strapped to her hand with explanation but the paper was blank once I unrolled it.  It may have faded over time.  Also, a little dance card booklet is attached to her wrist.  She could use a good cleaning and I believe she may have started her life with a longer dress as she is only in underclothes at present.  She has painted socks and shoes. She is lovely!  Her back has initials "PON" apparent with space prior to the letters.  I can not make out any other letters which leads me to believe she is a NIPPON.  I am not an expert and I welcome any feedback!  She can move her legs and arms but I did not try to sit her down as her slip is restrictive and I did not want to break her!  .00 shipping
