It zips all around.
It's semi-hard sided - hard with lightly padded leather covering.
There are seven 1" rings.
Measures 10.5" x 8".
There are some inserts included on the rings:
1) hard black plastic sheets on each side.
2) clear soft plastic zippered bag.
3) soft plastic ruler that serves as a book mark.
4) At-a-Glance dual power calculator & ruler made of hard plastic (solar works, button battery no longer works, but can be replaced).
5) paper envelope.
6) three plastic sheets with four slots in each for business cards.
7) tabbed pages with sheets of paper for personal info, notes, goal, projects, contacts, expenses, and a telephone book section to enter info for your own friends, family, customers,colleagues, etc.
There is a calendar tabbed page, but the calendar isn't included.
P.S. I saw another listing that said this model is Armorhide, but there isn't anything written on this organizer, so I don't know.
