VINTAGE LIGHT SAPPHIRE BLUE GLASS DANGLE PIN BROOCH

Description

The quality and color of the stones in this vintage pin is just unbelievable. At the top there is a round faceted Bohemian crystal light sapphire stone and on the sides are faceted baguette stones.
These are set on a beautiful filigree brass mounting.
Then dropping from the chain is a fine filigree mounting that has a large pear shape stone. This stone is most unusual. It is a light sapphire and is frosted or matted around the edge.  The center part of the surface of the stone has a high polish that gives a dramatic effect to the depth of the stone.
There is a faceted pear shape drop.
Across the top of the piece measures 2 ½ inches and the piece is 2 ¾ inches tall.

In the early days beads were strung on strings and stones were packed in paper, so they may have rubbed against each other and have very, very tiny nicks. Some of the foil may have rubbed off the back of some of the stones, but we do try to send you the best possible.
I usually throw in an extra stone or bead, just in case there is one that is not quite perfect.
We sell old stock that has never been used, but it is never going to look like brand new or imported items.
Brass usually discolors with age, and we do not clean before shipments
